Gary Harris Cycles

Common Mead Ln, Hambrook, Winterbourne, Bristol BS16 1QQ, UK – 07816 515082

"Don't fiddle with things you know nothing about", was what I've been told in the past. Well I did, the front shifter wasn't dropping onto the smallest gear ring, so I fiddled. Well that messed everything up, so contacted my local shop by email, no reply, left messages on landline and mobile, no response. As a last hope contacted Gary who said call in on Saturday and he'd have a look if it was quiet. Turned up, behind another clinic casualty, and within 20 minutes the problem was resolved and working as it should. He also found that the rear wheel nut had come loose and set the bars at a correct angle. Great service and happy to recommend and will go back for a future service. Plenty of free parking on site too.

Really excellent service and comms from the team. When my forks were condemned, Gary sourced a replacement and let me know the situation before commencing work. Honest and straightforward, we agreed a new price and he did an excellent job - really pleased. My wife can have her bike back now - thank god. Highly recommended.

Bomber Bikeworks

Unit 34 Station Road Workshops Station Road, Bristol BS15 4PJ, UK – 0117 327 0079

Great service! Trusted my bike in the hands of Greg and I wasn't disappointed. I have recently moved to the area and so spent a bit of time researching the different local bike shops and chose Bomber as it seemed the owner had a real passion for cycling and could deliver a good service. My bike honestly feels better than when I bought it, so thank you very much. I will be returning for my regular service and for any work required in the future.

Thoroughly recommend this place. Run by someone that clearly knows their stuff. Excellent service and fair pricing.

Cycle Route Downend

Unit 6, The Willow Shopping Centre, Downend Rd, Bristol BS16 5UJ, UK – 0117 957 0450

I turned up with a a flat tyre, an additional broken tube and they got me back on my bike and back the Bristol and Bath cycle path in no time. Great prompt professional service. Thanks guys!

Used this store for the first time recently. Cross top levers were slightly more expensive than the internet, but supplied and fitted by guys who really know their trade. Instilled far more confidence than when using national bike/car store. Will definitely be using for all my service and parts need in the future.

Bool's Bicycles

I often find in bike shops that they have an air of snootiness against those who don’t know much about bikes. This place is nothing like that. They are friendly and down to earth. The service was good too.

Very friendly, very helpful and a very reasonable price! I took my bike in as the gears kept skipping and the chain was rubbing against the derailleur. I dropped the bike off at 9am and by 10.30am it was sorted. I went to pick the bike up and Phil explained to me exactly what was wrong with it and how he had fixed it, he also showed me a part of how the bikes gears worked as well. I cannot recommend highly enough.
